Warner Bros welcomes Muggles to the Wizardly world of America with ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’

Pune: Warner Bros had bought back the wizardly love back, they are taking us to New York City of the 1920s, the new trailer of Harry Potter franchise spin- off Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them was released at the 2016 MTV Movie Awards.


The two-minute trailer shows Newt Scamander played by Eddie Redmayne smuggling his non-TSA approved beasts through Ellis Island security, with his briefcase loaded with ‘Muggle Worthy’ option to escape the security.


It also informs us that Scamander was expelled from Hogwarts for ‘endangering human life’ even though Albus Dumbledore fought against it. It follows with the line, “I wonder, what makes Albus Dumbledore so fond of you, Mr. Scamander?”


The movie is written by J.K. Rowling, directed by English director David Yates who also directed director of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, plus Half-Blood Prince, and both Deathly Hallows two-part finale, the cast in the movie includes Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol, Dan Fogler, and Colin Farrell, among others.

The film is set in the backdrop of the American version of the Ministry of Magic, housed in the Woolworth Building in New York City, also known as the MACUSA (‘Magical Congress of the United States of America) .


The lead actor, Redmayne introduced the clip Sunday night at the awards by saying he and the cast had the ‘most astounding time getting to leap back into the world of J.K. Rowling’s imagination.’


The movie will be released starting November 18th, 2016 this fall.
